RECIPE ~ Tahini Dip

Falafels, potato balls, veggies, chips, oven baked sweet potato fries... whatever, just dip it in this! Sesame seeds are the highest source of calcium and should be a staple in dairy-free diets.

1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)*
1/8 cup water
juice of half a lemon
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 clove garlic
dash of salt or squirt of Bragg's


Place all ingredients in the blender and process until smooth. Also makes a nice dressing for grain, lentil, avocado, tomato and spinach salads, just add a bit more water.

* FOR INDIVIDUAL DOSHAS
KAPHAS use this dip in small amounts due to the seed oils in tahini.
